Here is a link to a video that will walk you through the process of adding the Clickbank products to your pages: http://www.ezniche.com/videos/CSB/CSB1.html
If you have an active Click Bank account, here's a way you can automatically add CLICKBANK ads to your blogs and web sites: Go to this page: http://www.ezniche.com/ClicSensor/clicksensor/index.php?x=dottye78 and sign up for a free account. After doing that, you should receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to activate your free account. Then you should see a page with the words "Control Panel" at the top. Click on "Group List" The next page has a box with the words "Product Groups" above it. You will see two choices "Ad Campaigns" and "Clickbank". Click on the word "Clickbank", and navigate to the next page. Now you will see a box with the title "General Settings". You will see "Group Name" and then "Clickbank" and then underneath, it will say "Affiliate ID" with a blank field. Fill in your Click Bank ID in the blank field, and hit "Save". Now, here's where it gets tricky: Go back to the Control Panel, and choose "XML ads". Click on "Custom Keywords", and put in keywords related to your blog or web site. Put the keywords in the blank field to the right of "Custom Keywords". This helps you to target readers with products that they could use. You can put many keywords for a blog, but for a web site you'd probably use only two or three main keywords. If you don't like the ads the tool generates, you can go back and try the "URL the Feed Will Be Placed On" option, put in the site URL and see if those ads generated better match your web site. Underneath, in the "Your Code" section, a URL will be generated that you will place in the template of your blog where it calls for a feed. If you are using the Blogger Beta version, you will go to the Template, Add a Page Element, choose "Feed", and put in the URL generated by click sensor. Just copy and paste it from the XML ads page on Click Sensor. Save your changes on your blog or site, and then view the blog or site with your brand-new ads!! If the clickbank ads take too long to load, move them down further on the page and put the adsense up higher so people are not waiting for ads to show up- people hate to wait, and they will flip right by your site or blog. Any questions on how to use this, please email me at dottye789@earthlink.net.
When many people first start out in their endeavor to work from home, they often think that it is going to be lazy days and drinks by the poolside. Well, maybe not everyone, but more than a few do actually think this way. It’s important to have your priorities straight before you get to deep into thinking about working from home. The first problem I encountered was time management. Time management when working from home is crucial. Initially, I would go to work about nine or ten and be done by two or three in the afternoon. This was in my first few weeks and I thought it was great. I was working about five to six hours a day and making pretty good money. The problem was when I started to think about what I accomplished during the day. I was at my desk or the couch with a laptop for these five or six hours, yet I didn’t seem to be getting a lot of work done. That’s when I decided that I need a time management system and I needed to track my time better throughout the day. That way I could see where and what I spent my time on during those working hours.
What I found out was startling. Although I was working about six hours a day, I was actually only working on projects that I was being compensated for, at about two hours of my day. The rest of the day, I was answering e-mail or talking on instant messenger to friends. I somehow equated with sitting at my desk and computer as working, when actually that wasn’t the case.
So now, with time management in the forefront of my mind, I am able to work from home more efficiently and I am more productive. Sometimes I get all of my work done for the day in about four hours and then I go do some of my favorite hobbies.
Think about your time management and if you could or should improve on it.
Working from home is a wonderful and fulfilling experience. Many people would like to work from home, but just aren’t sure what to do or where to start. That makes sense. If it was an easy thing to do, everyone would be doing it. The logical place to start for work from home ideas is on the internet and this is where people get caught up in work from home scams.
There are thousands of less than credible people on the internet and they are willing to promise the moon if you send them money. You should be wary of anyone or any deal that just seems to good to be true, because that old saying is very relevant in this technological time. The snake oils of yesteryear are back, but they don’t come in a bottle these days. They come in the form of words. Words that make you want to buy whatever ideas these swindlers have, and make you think that what they are doing is the best way to work from home. Beware-these are work from home scams.
So what exactly are work from home scams? There are thousands of website dedicated to have you type from home. Some of the written sales pages that introduce you to this type of work are really outstanding letters. They even make me want to sign up and I know how bogus they are. Imagine how a person would react not knowing that the promises of working as much or as little as you want while making thousands a week, is nothing more than smoke and mirrors. Don’t fall for the typing from home, work from home scam. I haven’t found one yet that actually produces the type of money they claim to say they do.
Another work from home scam is the survey. They lure you in promising you that taking surveys at about five to ten minutes as at time will make you all the money you want and still afford you the time to enjoy your life. This is a work from home scam that really works. I’ve tried many of the survey sites for work from home ideas. None of them actually works out the way they say they will. Usually what happens is after you have completed surveys, which really take around twenty to thirty minutes, you are then entered to win a cash prize. You are up against all the other millions of people around the world who are doing the same thing. You can see the odds of making a healthy living working from home doing this. It’s just one more work from home scam.
Take the time to really understand what all of these work from home website really offer. Certainly don’t quit any other job that you may have on promises of a lucrative work from home deal. Try it out first and make sure that it is a viable way to make enough money to support you. Just beware that most of these sites are work from home scams.
To sell products, merchants consciously use subliminal advertising as a basis for general consumerism. This seems like an unnecessary task, but when taken into consideration all the people, who have expressed their disbelief in its effectiveness, it is obvious to see how vital and necessary such a task commands. Through this, corporations must take on new strategies and methods of persuasion and justification. The importance is that advertisers rely on a trust relationship with consumers in order to successfully subliminally sell products. In other words, those who don't believe in subliminal advertising, are its likely victims. The effect of subliminal advertising on the individual and the culture has been influenced and promoted by many different elements. Let it be magazines, newspapers or radio; but the most prominent in this field is television. Television advertising influences the choices we make, perhaps more so than anyone cares to believe. It may not be so obvious, but even teachers face competition with advertising. Television stations, for example, have some four billion dollars a year from industry to spend on programming for the same students that teacher’s face. Flash messaging is a common technique where a viewer is influenced by quick images and messages for a very short period of time. The subconscious registers this almost like it never occurred. All of this is pleasing to the eye; flashy colour, or a picture with a sexual innuendo. Another factor would be KISS (Keep It Sweet & Simple). All of these affect the success of the ad and the final result for the product at hand. A more cunning way to influence the buyer is to target your emotions. To question yourself is most successful for an advertiser. Although seeing sick hungry children living in a run down village in some 3rd world country may lead to your donating money, there are some ethics involved in purposely tampering with one’s emotions. Through all of this, this method of persuasion is most effective. A technique usually described as using “buzz words” is found more in prints than on television or radio. If we are scrolling through a newspaper and we see an exciting flashy word, our eyes tend to draw towards it. Companies are entirely aware of this, so that is why they flash words on their ads like, "FREE," "NEW," "HURRY." Something about these words makes the reader want to see what the fuss is all about, and to read the company's ad. Not always will there be "buzz words" embedded into the ad that look flashy. They may not have any significant meaning, but they are added in and seem successful in relaying the message. Words like, homemade, improved, 100%, tasty, and the list goes on
.....that will be a BOON to anyone with a home-based business! This will streamline internet marketing and advertising. I can't say much at this point- what I will say is that this product is being developed by Duane Tomko, author of "A Hand Up", a guide written to "help the little guy", the people who need it most.
- Gas prices- need we say more?
- Spend more time with family
I remember when I worked for a large media corporation. I was in training for my job. My son was leaving for college, over 1200 miles away. I was told by my boss that if I missed any of the training to see my son off at the train station, I would be terminated. So, a family friend saw my son off, and I remained at work. Even though we said our goodbyes that morning, I missed this important milestone. - Save money on daycare, work clothes, restaurant lunches, road tolls, car maintenance and repairs
As a young mother working for the State of Florida, almost one third of my take-home pay went for daycare. When I got “promoted” from an office job to a field job, my expenses went up for gas, car repairs, food on the road, etc. This was in 1989, before the advent of two and three dollar a gallon gasoline. I can only imagine what the social workers in field positions go through today, as the mileage check that the state issued did not cover your real expenses, plus the district office had a habit of “losing” your microscopically-detailed mileage reimbursement forms. It would sometimes be 90 days before you saw your reimbursement check. - Less hectic pace of life- relax more, enjoy life and live longer!
The average commute to work is about 45 minutes. Add the lunch hour to this, and you are devoting over 10 hours a day to your job. Then you come home, and the housework, meal preparation, childcare, etc. awaits you. You fall into bed exhausted after your 16 hour day, only to get up and do it all over again the following day. - No more office politics! No more bosses/co-workers from HELL!
This could be a book in itself. Most of us have experienced the “water cooler gossip”, the building “snoop”, and the warped personalities that become even more twisted once they get a little power in their hands. I had a supervisor who, among other things, thought it funny to call the utility company and impersonate her employees, and have the electricity turned off for the weekend. She had access to dates of birth, residence addresses, and social security numbers, and gave a good story to the clerks at the utility company about how she “left my bill at home, but I know my Social Security number”. When I was injured on the job in her car, she sent the police and the driver who hit us away. I ended up suing, as I had a hospital bill and permanent injuries- took me four years and cost me my house, but I prevailed. - YOU reap the rewards for your hard work, not somebody else or some greedy corporation!
Back in 1989, I read about a man who was a payments worker for an Adult Assistance Payments unit, which provided payments to Nursing Homes, came up with a wonderful idea, which saved the state of Florida tens of thousands of dollars, if not more, every month. His idea was to pro-rate the payment of the assistance grant based on the date that the elderly person entered the nursing home. Before this, the state was giving a full month’s grant payment to the homes, even though the resident would not enter until later in the month-in essence, paying the nursing home for nothing. The worker’s praises were sung in the employee newsletter- what a brilliant idea, and how much money this would save the taxpayers. In the corporate world, this man probably would have been given a raise and a bonus. What was his reward for his idea? A PLAQUE and a TEE-SHIRT! Try and take THOSE to the bank! - No more RUSH-HOUR TRAFFIC nightmares!
This fits in with the stress category. I remember my two hour (at least) commute into Tampa, FL. This would sometimes be longer if there was an accident on the interstate, and traffic came to a stand-still. Usually, this happened on Tuesdays, when I was supposed to be in court at 9 AM as part of my job. This was two hours one way, and four hours round trip- usually more! - Benefit from tax breaks for having a working office in your home.
Check with your tax preparer or the IRS about the details, but if you use part of your home as your workplace, part of your home’s expenses (mortgage or rent, taxes, insurance, and utilities, phone and internet) are tax-deductible. Any business equipment that you purchase, such as computers, copy machines, and fax machines are also deductible.
